This is Skype for Business v16.28.142 on OS X 10.13. We can reproduce the error with different users on different machines. There are some easy and harder fixes- but. The Skype for Business Server Front-End service terminated with the following service-specific error: General access denied error Now we are in real trouble So we tried reinstalling Windows Fabric Host service, no luck. We've included both Windows and Mac guidelines- scroll down for both. Looking on line, some people have advised that the root certificate that the Skype server uses be installed on the local OS X machine, which we have done, and trusted. If you're looking to remove Skype for Business, we've compiled some solutions. We have checked that the clock is correct with time on site. Users receive the following error upon trying to sign in ' There was a problem verifying the certificate from the server. I realise that the Skype experience for those on OS X is not comparable with the features of the Windows client, but we have an issue where users on OS X cannot sign in to Skype at all from home. We have a Skype for Business system which works fine for our users.except those on OS X.
